Trekking In Arslanbob

A 2 days 1 night trek organized by CBT Arslanbob brought us through the vast walnut forest, stunning view of the mountains and 2 waterfalls. Our guide has a vast knowledge of the surrounding mountains and is able to speak english very well.

We started early in the morning with Rahmat – the guide, a cook (can’t recall his name) and a donkey. The donkey was the porter carrying tents and other logistics including cooking utensils and food.

Overlooking Arslanbob Village

At the beginning of the trek, you’ll reach a spot where you are able to overlook the entire village of Arslanbob from a high viewing point. The trek then takes us through a walnut forest, gradual ups and downs and lots of beautiful scenery along the way.

Welcomed by Horses

The first day ends at a beautiful spot with an amazing view of the surroundings. We were greeted by horses while setting up our tent, seemingly to welcome our stay for the night there.

After setting up the tent, our cook prepared a lovely meal for us and we had a dinner with an unbeatable view.

Not so far away from our campsite, sits a single house. One can only wonder how far is their nearest neighbour.

We spent the nice and cooling night at the mountains.

Surrounded by Cows and Sheep

The next morning, we woke up to a beautiful sunrise and instead of horses, we were surrounded by cows and sheep grazing the pasture around our tent!

We continued our trek to a more visual feast of the surroundings and its mountains.

Taking a break and enjoying the view

Before we head back to the village, we stopped by two waterfalls nearby. Arslanbob.
